AFRO VESPA 2005

Tanks were filled and bags were packed for the Afro Vespa 2005

From 14 – 16 October 2005, Vespa owners, Vespa fanatics, and Vespa lovers joined in this year's AfroVespa Rally to the beautiful town of Robertson in the heart of the Cape winelands.

The reason behind this rally was simply for the love of riding these unique scooters. Some of the oldest Vespa's that joinined the rally this year date back as far as 1965.

Participants enjoyed various fun-filled activities over the weekend, such as a farmhouse breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday mornings, wine-tours and competitions with their Vespas.

Great prizes were up for grabs. and there was even a floating trophy for the participant who had travelled the furthest to attend this special rally! Fun was had by all..
